I totally agree. This is getting way out of hand. Its one thing to not give the beginning player all of the cool outfits and extra guns and such until they put their time in with the game as a reward for their hard work but to make people now pay for the bonus stuff that truthfully should be FREE, is just plain uncalled for. I will also not be buying this game or any of their shitty DLC. I find it hard to support any developer this greedy with my hard earned cash. I'm greedy as well....
If you were replying to my comment, I know this is a port of a remake. What I said was that I hope they totally remake RE2, Like they did for the first on the gamecube) instead of just porting over the original with HD visuals.
With that being said though, It better be a full blown REmake of RE2 just like they did with this one on the Gamecube. I won't be bying a port with a hint of better eye candy. I still have my originals and digital copies.
Please, Don't bother clicking on this garbage review. Shoddy this game is not. What it is, is still by far the best Resi game to date. Play it if you have not already. $20 is a steal.
Probably my 3rd favorite Final Fantasy game. Liked 8 and 7 a little better.
This is all so my favorite RPG. Absolutely loved it. Was actually sad when it ended on the 4th disc. This is closely followed by Final Fantasy VIII.

I'm right there with you. Yes, I do play the occasional multi match in COD and Titanfall and I'm really looking forward to Splatoon, but for me, single player is where the heart is.

I also agree to a point. The beginning of the game was very old school resi and the second half, they mixed Call of Duty in my Resident Evil. WTF!! Why do the zombies need to be carrying machine guns and rocket launchers and drive hummers.
I don't want my mind blown with a resident evil survival horror game. Please go back to what made Resident evil, Resident Evil. If another Zombie, Las Plegas or whatever the hell they are called now, comes at me with a uzi I think I'm gonna slit my wrist.
I was really enjoying The Evil within until every enemy was toting a gun. Hell, one of them rolled up on me with a hummer and 50cal. WTF

Does anyone know if there is going to be an extensive single player story mode in this game like last game. That was an incredible part of the game and useful to because it forced you to use every character. If there is, I will definitely be getting this but if not, I will have to give this a second thought.
Agreed. I've been gaming for over 35 years and seen it all. I still enjoy playing games today as much as back then. Technology has advanced and so has the gameplay. So, what we experience and how we experience it is going to be miles apart from then to now. Just because a game is not all laughter and giggles does not make it any less "fun". Just a different experience. If we were not having "fun", why the hell would we play these damn things, right.
I will be buying this day one for my kids. (cough) Yah, my kids. Definitely my kids. (cough) (mumble, mumble)
I will be using the old tank controls. I don't mind them at all and feel they add to the tension of the game. Plus, I read somewhere that the new modern controls make the game allot easier.
yep, just did the same thing. I don't know if I love or hate the PS app on my phone. Now I read about sales on the computer and 5 minutes later I'm purchasing it on my phone. 2 mins after that, its downloading.
